FreeWili2 expands audio support in every direction. A 3.5 mm jack lets you plug in external headphones and—thanks to a combined TRRS connection—an external microphone as well, making it easy to wire up a headset or bring your own transducer into the system.

Three additional onboard microphones join forces to form a 4-mic phased array, unlocking beamforming, noise rejection, and directional capture that simply wasn’t possible on earlier hardware. Paired with the extra processing headroom of the RP2350, some seriously demanding audio applications become possible — VIVA LAS VEGAS is coming back loud and clear.

Rounding out the audio chain is a 2 W onboard speaker, powerful enough for clear voice prompts and sound effects without any external amplifier. Whether you’re building a voice-interface badge or an audio-spectrum analyzer, FreeWili2 has the hardware to match the ambition.
