Programmable power supply
ProgrammablePWR
1.1 to 5.5V with glitching
The onboard programmable power supply spans 1 to 5.5 V with 1.5 A of current capability — enough headroom to power a wide variety of target devices and Orca configurations directly from FreeWili2. The supply is commanded by the main CPU over its I2C bus, so voltage changes are software-driven at the I2C update rate rather than nanosecond-precision switching.
For security research applications, a MOSFET crowbar is wired to the supply output under direct control of the main CPU, enabling voltage-glitching attacks on target hardware. Combined with FreeWili2’s programmable IO and capture capability, this makes it a capable platform for fault-injection work right out of the box.
