Portable power
3000mAh
17 Power Zones
FreeWili2 was designed from the start to be a portable tool. At the heart of its power system sits a dedicated ultra-low-power (ULP) micro that controls 17 independent power zones, allowing the board to dynamically bring zones up or down depending on what’s actually needed at any moment.
The battery has been tripled in size to 3000 mAh, dramatically extending field use compared to the original FreeWili. The ULP micro also manages charging, intelligently getting the most out of whatever USB power source is connected. Sensors tie directly into the ULP as well, so they can act as wake-up sources — keeping the board in a low-power sleep state until real-world conditions demand attention.
